Moss-side Cottage, Beath, Fife on 14 May 1861), son of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.halmyre.co.uk\/blog\/margaret-blackwood\/\">Margaret Blackwood and Robert Ramage,<\/a>\u00a0in Priory Lane, Dunfermline on 2 July 1882.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Margaret and Archibald are at 75 Netherton Street, Dunfermline on the 1891 Census and at 150 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline on the 1901 Census.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Archibald died in the Cottage Hospital, Dunfermline on 28 July 1910, age 49. His usual address is 150 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Margaret died at 164 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline on 16 May 1929, age 69.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>LATER LIFE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret is possibly a House Servant in Rose Street, Edinburgh on the 1861 Census. Her place of birth is given as N.K. &#8211; i.e., not known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret married John Coldstream McFarlane (b.c.1839), Joiner, son of Robert McFarlane and Elizabeth Sanderson in the Canongate, Edinburgh on 18 November 1862.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret and John are in North Berwick on the 1871 Census.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret, now widowed, is in Baker Street, Stirling on the 1881, 1891 and 1901 Census.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret and John had three children:<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Elizabeth McFarlane<\/strong>, born in Edinburgh, Midlothian on 23 September 1865.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Georgina McFarlane<\/strong>, born in Edinburgh, Midlothian on 18 January 1870.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>John McFarlane<\/strong>, born in Glasgow, Lanarkshire on 15 September 1872.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>DEATH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margaret died at 84 Baker Street, Stirling, Stirlingshire on 18 July 1901, age 65.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Margaret Finlayson, born in Dunfermline, Fife on 3 October 1835, daughter of George Finlayson and Margaret Anderson.
